I have been working as a Trainee Sport & Performance Psychologist for the past two years, working in elite sport and with the general population to improve individual well-being and mental health, lifestyle, and performance. I possess an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Kent, as well as a postgraduate master’s degree in Sport & Exercise Psychology from Loughborough University. Within my work I utilise a person-centred, evidence-based approach to integrate psychological skills and techniques into your daily life and habits. You would receive an individualised programme, tailored to your unique context and environment. This may include topics such as confidence, mental resilience, cognitive reframing etc.
While I have experience in team environments and organisations, I find working with individual people on a one-to-one basis incredibly fulfilling. Being able to support people in their journey through specific periods of transition or challenge. This could be building confidence in the gym, building mental resilience for a marathon, or navigating difficult work-life balances. The ability to guide people through challenges and achieve goals is a core motivation of mine.
Outside of work and the clinic, I enjoy staying fit by going to the gym, running, and playing football. Alongside this I enjoy reading and spending time with my family outside on walks in the surrounding areas!
If you have any questions surrounding our services, your situation, or if it is for you, feel free to book in for a FREE 30-minute appointment with me at the clinic! This isn’t just for when you feel low, this is about being proactive and growing as people.
